I am really struggling to find pretty sresses at affordable prices that can be worn to a glam wedding. I dont want to look like a frump just because I am the only pregnant woman there :( Can anyone help? thios is fab, keep the ideas coming, i am looking at all of the sites you are suggesting

Pregnant women can wear alot of summer dresses that aren't even meant for pregnant women because they are loose fitting. I have difficulty finding dresses to cover up my large breasts though. So I would go just about anywhere looking for dresses. Other than that I find maternity shirts here and there, Target, thrift stores, malls, fred meyer, all kinds of places. And as for pants, I can't find many maternity pants that fit me because I am small. i am normally a size 3. So i've been wearing my pre pregnancy jeans and just leaving them unbuttoned and i bought the BellaBand to keep them up. You should get one!

wedding outfit while pregnant...grrrr?

i am going to my sister-in-laws wedding in aug, i will be 28 weeks pregnant and i need to get an outfit, but its so annoying i cant find anything at a reasonable price and be wearable again! since its going to have to be maternity i need it nice for a wedding but i want to be able to wear it again during the pregnancy, i dont want to spend money on an outfit i will never be able to wear again, its annoying. i need a formal/able to go to a supermarket wearing it lol anyone know any places in uk or websites i can get something adnf ro a reasonable price? thank you so much

I know you can download wedding dresses, etc, but do you need to do anything special to make your sim use it when they get married (specifically with the arch)? Rather than going through the process of finding a dress and downloading it just for the sim to use the default wedding dress. Also, does it work the same with downloaded maternity outfits? I've downloaded wedding dresses, but I'm afraid of my sim reverting to the default dress if I use the wedding arch. I know you can set it as the formal dress, but it won't stay on the sim if you use the arch will it? Does the same apply to downloaded maternity outfits as well?

To have your Sim use the default wedding dress just choose the dress from the formal outfits available in the game. You may have to buy it first from a store. Have your sim stand in front of the dresser/wardrobe and then from the options available when you click on the dresser choose 'plan formal outfit'. Click on the wedding dress. Then when your Sim wants to wear it just choose ' wear formal' or 'dress in formal' (I forget the exact wording)' when she is in front of the wardrobe/dresser. She will now be wearing the wedding dress if you planned that as her formal outfit. Downloaded maternity outfits are a bit trickier. You need a hack, otherwise your Sims will just wear the fugly default maternity outfits. The most well-known hack is Squinge's.But it can cause problems if you have other hacks in your game. The wedding dress is beautiful , i also like the mother of the bride outfit but could i point something out .If she had the jacket and hat in the same blue as the detail of the top of your dress it would carry the theme better. Hi. I've been invited to a wedding in a couple of months, dress code 1920s-1940s. I'll be 8 months pregnant by then and am struggling to find affordable, attractive options. Authentic vintage maternity doesn't really exist as you didn't flaunt your bump back then and stayed home once you were big. So any ideas on outfits that are styleable or looks I can improvise? Clearly I have not a big budget and it's a waste to buy something I can't wear again (maternity clothes are a problem like that anyway). Also, I am in my thirties + curvy size 10/12 without bump so needs to be age appropriate and flattering too (e.g. sleeveless or hip-hugging/above-knee styles to be avoided). Any help/inspiration much appreciated!

I think you'll struggle with 1920-1930 stuff. Loose (swing) coats were quite 1940's and here is an ebay item which could be used as inspiration. An image of an original 1940's blouse, which you can style loose over a modern maternity skirt. I'd start browsing charity shops Hairstyle, hat, gloves and make-up colours should be able to complete a 'look'.

You need to use a cheat. 1. Type in boolprop testingcheatsenabled true 2. Hit the shift key and click your Sim at the same time. It may take a few tries to get the menus. 3. Choose Spawn from the menus that come up, and choose Tom's Clothing Tester (it's something like that) 4. Hit the one above "force redress" I can't think of exactly what it's called now, sorry! 5. Choose Formal clothing, and see which wedding dresses show you're Sim is pregnant. Not all of them will. 6. Choose that dress, repeat step 2, and choose "Force Redress"
