Can anyone recommend a great seemstress to alter a wedding dress?

I bought my dress in Chicago and live in Denver and am nervous to take it to get altered. Can anyone recommend someone they've used?

I'm replying because nobody else has - I would recommend calling some wedding boutiques and asking for recommendations. The tailors should be able to provide references.

Wedding dress shopping in Denver, CO?

I'm attending a conference at the Colorado Convention Centre at the end of the monthl. I'm hoping maybe to check out some bridal boutiques/stores while I'm there as I'm still searching for a great dress. There are some within close proximity to my hotel but I don't want to waste my time..... Where's the best places to go?

I don't know what your price range is, but for great quality, I would head to Cherry Creek North (a shopping district very close to downtown Denver). Bea's Bridal Nook (E 6th ave & Detroit st) is a lovely botique. Also in Cherry Creek is Priscilla of Boston, which has really stylish gowns. Those are just what come to mind at the moment. There's also a small shop in the Denver Pavilions, a shopping center on the 16th street mall between Treemont and Welton (just a few blocks from the convention center). I can't remember the name, but it looks like it has some nice gowns.
